The Notah Begay III Jr. Golf National Championship Series (NB3 JGNC) is a 2-stage qualifying process culminating in a 54-hole National Championship that will air on Golf Channel during a 2-hour broadcast. The Series is open to all juniors. The top 5 boys and top 5 girls in the UHY Prep Series - Detroit will move on to the NB3 Indiana Regional Qualifier (date / location TBD)
EVENT OVERVIEW
The UHY Prep Series is conducted in conjunction with UHY's official sponsorship of the AJGA. UHY is the title sponsor of the AJGA’s UHY Detroit Junior at Forest Lake which will held during the summer 2024 at Forest Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The boys and girls champion and runner-up of the UHY Prep Series - Detroit will earn an exemption* to the UHY Detroit Junior at Forest Lake. Trophies will be awarded to the boys and girls champions; medals will be awarded to the runners-up and third place finishers.

* AJGA EXEMPTION
You must be a current member of the AJGA to participate in the UHY Detroit Junior at Forest Lake. If the individual earning the exemption is not a current AJGA member, they must purchase an AJGA membership and register for the UHY Detroit Junior at Forest Lake two weeks in advance of the published AJGA registration deadline. In the event the Prep Series - Detroit champion or runner up chooses not to utilize the exemption or does not register in accordance with the previously stated timeline, the exemption will be awarded to the next highest finisher. This procedure based on finishing order in the Prep Series will continue until the exemption is utilized.
